Our busy hotel is looking for an exceptional director of sales and marketing to develop a revenue plan that maximizes profitability for daily sales in areas such as rooms, dining, catering, and events. We need someone willing to be the brand's voice and manage the marketing budget to produce property-specific campaigns, promotions, and collateral that will generate revenue and meet property targets. $60,000 - $70,000

• Collaborate with sales managers and stakeholders to assess the performance of the organization
• Build customer loyalty while generating new revenue by developing long-term relationships
• Produce accurate sales reports that include marketing budgets, current market share, direct sales, and outline marketing strategies
• Hire, train, and motivate your team to provide better customer service to your clients
• Achieve sales team goals and yearly sales targets and plan and implement short and long-term marketing plans

• High diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing or hospitality
• 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably with some experience in a sales management role
• Marketing expertise and knowledge of sales department best practices are needed for this position
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• Computer skills are needed for this position, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
