Managing Director of Technology Solutions

The Role

Human Agency is seeking an experienced Managing Director of Technology Solutions to join our team and lead the development of our AI-consulting practice, leading a team, and managing high-impact technical projects. This role will work closely with Human Agency’s leadership team, the Founder, CEO, and CTO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI and machine learning, exceptional client service skills, and the ability to drive strategic technology implementations. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Client Service & Delivery: Serve as the primary point of contact for client contacts ranging from entry level to VP, ensuring exceptional service delivery and alignment with stakeholder expectations across multiple teams/projects within the same organization.
• Technical Project Management: Maintain regular and transparent communication on project work streams, master roadmap, and collaboration efforts between Human Agency and its clients.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive AI strategies that align with clients' business goals.
• Technology Implementation: Lead the end-to-end implementation of AI solutions, from vendor selection to deployment and integration.
• Team Leadership and People Management: Guide and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with AI projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and ethical guidelines.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the success and impact of AI solutions, driving continuous improvement.
• Client Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure clients can effectively utilize AI technologies.
• Communications and Marketing: Effectively communicate our work, technology trends and how to use, and manage and develop web and email technology products that support client retention and acquisition.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset: Constantly seek to make the work done in the organization more efficient, through process improvement and the adoption of great technologies.

• Project Management: Proficient in managing large-scale projects, including planning, execution, and delivery within specified timelines.

• Critical Thinking: Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions.
• Client Service Excellence: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Considerations:

• Ethical Awareness: Commitment to ethical technology and AI practices and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of technologies, data, and AI, including machine learning algorithms, data analysis, and AI solution deployment.

Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in technology consulting, product development, and or building successful technology-centered start ups.
• Recent experience (2+ years) in AI and machine learning.
• Proven track record in a leadership role.

Travel: Open to traveling 30-60% of the time, as needed for the role.

Educational Background: Considerations include bachelor's degree, advanced degree, and/or relevant field(s) of study or professional experience.
