*Job Description Acupuncturist*

We are seeking a Licensed Acupuncturist to help with a busy Acupuncture department, in a multi-specialty clinic to:

* Maintain and follow standard treatment protocols commensurate with regulatory requirements and in accordance with all local, state and federal laws, regulations and statutes governing acupuncture.
* Maintain and follow LifeLynx quality, safety, environmental and infection control policies and procedures.
* Assess patients' general physical appearance and general mental health to assist with making diagnoses.
* Collect medical histories and general health and lifestyle information from patients. • Assist with maintaining dispensary/pharmacy for your acupuncture practice
* Formulate herbal preparations to treat conditions considering herbal properties such as taste, toxicity, effects of preparation, contraindications, and incompatibilities.
* Maintain detailed and complete records of health care plans and prognoses.
* Promote the practice by going to outreach activities and other marketing events paid for by LifeLynx (all planned for in advance, not to exceed 4 events in a year unless elected by you).
* General office/treatment room housekeeping.
* Manage supplement and herbal inventory.
* Maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor at all times.

Position is Full-time, Overtime Exempt, Employee. Work hours are Monday through Friday.
