Our ideal candidate will be well-presented, trustworthy, will have experience in estate planning and elder law, possess strong organizational skills, and be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently. This role involves supporting attorneys and paralegals with various administrative and legal tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the firm.

This position is Full-Time. Compensation will reflect our commitment to, and expectations of, this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in preparing and drafting legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
  • Maintain and organize client files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and court dates.
  • Communicate with clients, providing updates and answering inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepare and file legal documents with courts and other relevant authorities.
  • Manage and track deadlines for legal filings and other important dates.
  • Perform general administrative duties, such as answering phones, managing emails, and handling correspondence.
  • Meeting with clients to review and execute estate planning documents

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding organization skills, including time management and systemizing of all processes
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Flexible and collaborative approach to working in a team, while highly-driven
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent follow-through capabilities
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
