Are you passionate about coffee? Our Iconic coffee brand client is seeking an innovative, forward-thinking, and highly skilled Lead Motion Designer to join our Content Innovation team. This person will be a self-motivated and open-minded candidate with solid visual design and motion design capabilities and a comprehensive understanding of how brand can express themselves across a digital brand ecosystem. This person will be supporting the design team in generation of unique design and promotional concepts that promote brand identity and enhance the experience for the consumer. Supports the development execution and evolution of the Brand Expression.
Responsibilities: - Create engaging motion graphics for in-store digital signage that set a high bar for digital storytelling that consistently engages our customers
- Be a passionate student of all things digital, particularly in-store digital signage and digital advertising.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve the quality and innovation of motion graphics production.
- Create and maintain motion design systems and principles for consumer facing in-store digital signage.
- Collaborate closely with marketing team members, stakeholders, and designers to create concepts that meet their goals and expectations
- Translate marketing strategy into persuasive digital first motion-based layouts and engaging concepts from storyboarding to final assets.
- Have a solid understanding of design principles and best practices specific to digital (e.g. typography, color theory, layout, information hierarchy)
Qualifications: - 6-10 yeats of experience in motion graphics design, preferably from an agency or direct to consumer in-house environments
- Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud product (must have prior work experience with web/app platform and CS software) - Adobe Experience Manager Assests experience is a plus
- Expert Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator) and other industry-standard motion graphics software. 3D animation software experience is a plus
- Portfolio that showcases contributions to interactive consumer facing experiences and demonstrates originality, innovation, strong visual story-telling and visual aesthetics
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to present concepts, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Experience creating digital motion design in a similar industry
- Be able to present their own work, and working with the brand guidelines
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $52 - $55.21/hr an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
