What To Expect
Consider before submitting an application: This position is expected to start around May 2025 and continue through the Summer term (approximately August 2025) or into Fall 2025 if available and there is an opportunity to do so. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program. Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships.
International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

About The Team
Specialize in network engineering in a global enterprise environment. This role will provide network engineering, implementation, analytical, and operational support. The engineer will ensure compliance to established system architecture, regulations and security policies, follow standards and best practices, and author and maintain support documentation.
What You'll Do Work closely with Staff Network Engineers on design and initiativesMaintain current network solution within manufacturing, workplace, retail, and data center environmentFunction as a Tier 2-3 escalation pointRequirements gathering, analyze, and propose solution to networking needsProvision, implement, test/validation, and maintain networking services per solution designConduct product POC evaluationMonitor, analyze, and report metrics of network servicesDocument network knowledge base and operational “Run-Book”Participate in on call rotation (potential weekend)
What You'll Bring Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field of study and graduating between 2025-2026Experience with mid-large global enterprise networking infrastructureFamiliarity in IP networking, L2/L3 network protocols (spanning-tree, OSPF, BGP), TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, end to end QOS, VLAN, VRRP, LACP, MC-LAG, EVPN with VXLAN, ACL, application flow, NAC, and infrastructure cablingNice to have: Experience with multi-vendor switching technologies including Juniper, Arista, and Cisco, Extensive experience with Juniper SRX and Palo Alto Networks firewall services including IPSEC VPN, URL filtering, and IDS/IPS, Experience with various tools such as Protocol Analyzer, SNMP, Netflow, IPAM, RADIUS, Splunk, network taps, and load/stress testing, Experience with developing scripts to automate infrastructure deployment and collect metrics

Expected Compensation
$32.45 - $45.43/hour + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
