• This role is HYBRID in one of these locations: Charlotte, NC / Columbus, OH / Minneapolis, MN / Detroit, MI / Chicago, IL / Pittsburgh, PA / Dallas, TX

• Will be responsible for driving innovation initiatives, designing cutting-edge technology solutions, and creating a roadmap for leveraging new technologies to enhance our service offerings. This role requires a deep understanding of the financial services landscape, emerging technologies, and a passion for fostering a culture of innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy Development:
• Develop and lead the execution of an innovation strategy aligned with the organization’s business goals.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, new technologies, and opportunities for disruptive innovation.
• Design innovation roadmaps and frameworks to address future business needs.

• Solution Architecture:
• Architect innovative solutions by integrating new technologies and methodologies with existing systems.
• Collaborate with product and technology teams to prototype and develop proof-of-concepts (PoCs) for new solutions.
• Ensure that all innovation solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with the company’s long-term objectives.

• Project Leadership:
• Lead cross-functional teams in the development, testing, and implementation of innovation initiatives.
• Manage the lifecycle of innovation projects, from concept ideation to implementation and performance measurement.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of key milestones.

• Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify areas for innovation and improvement.
• Foster a collaborative environment to encourage creative thinking and problem-solving across departments.
• Present innovation proposals, business cases, and project outcomes to leadership and key stakeholders.

• Emerging Technology Expertise:
• Stay up-to-date with cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices.
• Evaluate the potential of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, blockchain, IoT, machine learning, etc.) to improve operations or create new products and services.
• Provide guidance on how to integrate innovative technologies with existing systems and processes.

• Cultural Transformation:
• Promote an innovation-driven culture within the organization by encouraging experimentation and risk-taking.
• Develop programs and workshops to inspire creativity and innovative thinking across teams.
• Mentor and coach teams on innovation methodologies such as Design Thinking, Agile, and Lean Startup.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in innovation, solution architecture, product development, or related fields.

• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, digital transformation, and system integration.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative and forward-thinking mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong understanding of financial services products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing innovative technology solutions.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Experience in cloud, programming, and data platforms.
• Knowledge of fintech innovations and emerging technologies applicable to financial services.
• Experience with agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL, or similar) are a plus.
