The HR Generalist I supports a wide range of cross-functional human resources activities including talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and employee engagement. This position works closely with employees, managers, outside vendors, and consultants to implement HR policies, programs, and initiatives. The HR Generalist I operates under the supervision of the HR Manager but is expected to handle day-to-day HR functions with independence and discretion. As directed , this position will also support other departments and managers to meet the immediate needs of the firm. This person will reflect and promote SESI’s values of professionalism, collaboration, and integrity.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human resources , Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
Two years or more of experience in a related field .
Experience with HRIS systems, benefits administration is preferred
Recruiting/talent acquisition or onboarding experience is strongly preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid Driver’s License and possess reliable transportation.

Work Environment
Due to the collaborative nature of this role, it is important that this team member’s regular working schedule aligns with the company’s and fall within 8 AM -5:30 PM . There may be times where tasks fall on nights/ weekends.

This position will work in a typical office environment, mostly located indoor with windows. The office contains office equipment resulting in equipment noise .
