We are a mission-driven non-profit organization seeking a Human Resources Generalist to assist with the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department to include onboarding, tracking completion for new staff trainings, benefits administration, administrative functions, file audits, company events. Work schedule is Full-Time 35 hours/week Monday-Friday 9am-4pm. $25-$26/hour. Expected start date 12/1/25. Onboarding
Facilitate onboarding ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Employee Relations
Serve as a trusted resource for employees and supervisors on HR policies and procedures.
Support conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
Promote a positive workplace culture rooted in respect, equity, and inclusion.
Compliance & Policy
Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and ensure organizational compliance (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, ADA).
Assist with audits, background checks, and personnel file maintenance.
Support compliance with licensing and accreditation requirements specific to IDD services.
Benefits & Payroll Support
Enroll new employees in benefit plans.
Assist with open enrollment and benefits communication.
Training & Development
Support employee training initiatives, including required IDD service-related trainings.
Track completion of all required new employee trainings.
HR Systems & Reporting
Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate reports as needed.
Support HR metrics and data-driven decision-making.
Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in a non-profit or human services organization.
Knowledge of HR best practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience working with diverse populations and commitment to disability inclusion.
Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
