What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a Google Cloud Platform Engineer who will play a pivotal role in enhancing our organization's capabilities and advancing the missions of our federal partners. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing strategies that address critical challenges within the federal government. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading Innovative Projects: Spearhead the design and execution of projects that leverage advanced technologies like Vertex AI and Document AI to solve complex problems within the federal sector.
• Collaborative Solution Development: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that are both effective and scalable, ensuring alignment with federal regulations and organizational goals.
• Strategic Impact: Analyze emerging trends and technologies to inform strategic decisions, positioning Aretec as a leader in federal contracting.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with federal partners, understanding their needs and delivering solutions that drive mission success.
• Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

The Skills We're Looking For:

• Technical Expertise: Proficient in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, especially Vertex AI and Document AI , with a strong understanding of their applications within the federal sector.
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to dissect complex problems and develop innovative solutions that are both practical and forward-thinking.
• Leadership Abilities: Proven experience in leading projects or teams, with a focus on achieving strategic objectives and fostering professional growth among team members.

The Expectations of the Job:

Day One:

• Orientation and Onboarding: Immerse yourself in Aretec's culture, values, and mission. Begin building relationships with your team and familiarize yourself with our current projects and federal partners.

Day Thirty:

• Active Contribution: Start actively participating in projects, bringing fresh ideas and perspectives. Collaborate with team members to understand project scopes and deliverables.
• Skill Application: Utilize your expertise to tackle initial tasks, demonstrating your ability to adapt and contribute effectively.

Day Sixty:

• Project Leadership: Take on more significant responsibilities within projects, potentially leading a small team or a project segment.
• Strategic Planning: Begin contributing to strategic discussions, offering insights based on your analysis of emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Stakeholder Interaction: Engage more deeply with federal partners, understanding their challenges and working towards tailored solutions.

Day Ninety:

• Full Ownership: Assume full ownership of key projects or initiatives, driving them from conception to successful completion.
• Innovation and Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation within projects and across the organization.
• Mentorship Role: Actively mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and fostering an environment of continuous learning.
