Job Details

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:

Lead, develop, and mentor a global team of 10+ accountants across multiple regions, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability.
Provide direction and guidance to the accounting team on technical accounting matters and day-to-day operations.
Establish and maintain clear processes and controls, ensuring the team meets deadlines, adheres to regulatory requirements, and maintains high-quality work standards.
Technical Accounting Expertise:

Provide expert knowledge on complex accounting issues, including but not limited to revenue recognition, lease accounting, and financial reporting under US GAAP and IFRS.
Stay current on new accounting standards and regulatory changes, ensuring the company remains compliant and adapts its processes accordingly.
Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:

Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for both internal and external reporting.
Coordinate the preparation of audit schedules, support external auditors, and ensure timely completion of financial audits.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (tax, legal, treasury, and operations) to ensure accurate and efficient financial reporting.
Process Improvement & Automation:

Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and drive operational efficiencies, leveraging automation and system improvements where possible.
Drive the implementation of best practices to optimize the closing process and improve financial reporting timelines.
Strategic Partner to Senior Leadership:

Serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO, executive team, and private equity partners, providing financial insights to inform strategic decisions and drive growth initiatives.
Manage the accounting aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions as the company continues to grow.
Internal Controls and Risk Management:

Ensure the company has strong internal controls in place to safeguard assets, ensure financial accuracy, and prevent fraud.
Continuously monitor and assess risk areas, proactively identifying solutions to mitigate financial and operational risks.
