Full-Stack Developer As a Full-Stack Developer at Educate, you’ll own major parts of our software —building fast, reliable, and scalable systems end-to-end. You’ll work across front-end and back-end , turning product ideas into production-ready features used by tens of thousands of users worldwide. We move fast here. You’ll need to think independently, ship clean code, and take full responsibility for what you build. Ideal Candidate Proven track record in architecting complex UI solutions. In-depth knowledge of REST APIs and system integration. Experience with Node.js backend. Familiarity with security best practices. Excellent debugging and performance optimisation skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong leadership , communication , and problem-solving skills. A strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality code. Adaptability to evolving project requirements and priorities. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Strong written and spoken English. Location Timezone alignment matters — we run tight, and communication speed is key. Educate is a fully remote team, but we operate primarily in EST time zones . You can work from anywhere, but you’ll need to overlap with our core hours to collaborate effectively and move projects forward fast. Communication The ideal candidate knows how to simplify complex technical ideas and communicate them clearly across teams. Collaboration comes naturally — technical or not, everyone stays aligned and moves fast. Experience You possess a proven track record of success in leading digital projects. A strong background in modern web development technologies and mobile application frameworks is required. You should be a proven leader with a history of driving successful digital initiatives. What You’ll Do Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth. Lead the development of high-impact features, participating in all aspects of software development, including design, implementation, and deployment. Develop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements. Architect and guide building end-to-end systems optimised for speed and scale, ensuring the highest standards of code quality and performance. Assume leadership of new projects, from conceptualisation to deployment. Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, and maintain high standards for code quality and application design.
