Job Description

Goodyear Belts by Adventry Corp. is a company that manufactures and distributes the Goodyear Belt brand of Industrial and Automotive Aftermarket Power Transmission Belts. Under this licensing agreement with The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, Adventry Corp. is looking for a reliable Forklift Operator to join their warehousing team. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the warehouse by safely and accurately moving products from one place to another. The successful candidate will also promote a safe and clean work environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move materials, supplies, and finished products within the warehouse
• Conduct physical inventory counts and maintain accurate records of all products and materials in the warehouse
• Organize and maintain inventory levels, and properly stack and store materials to ensure maximum space utilization
• Perform routine checks on forklift equipment and ensure all equipment is well-maintained and in good working order
• Identify and report any materials, products, or equipment that do not meet quality standards or are defective
• Cooperate with supervisors and follow all instructions to complete assigned tasks within a tight timeframe
• Follow safety procedures and practices at all times and ensure compliance with established health and safety regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience as a forklift operator with a valid forklift certification
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in the English language
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Sound knowledge of safe operation of forklift equipment and ability to perform routine maintenance checks and repairs
