Staff Management | SMX is seeking hardworking Forklift Drivers to join our team in Newmarket, ON. Earn $22.00 - $24.00/hour, while helping us to maintain a clean and safe work environment! All positions are full-time hours working 12 hour continental (ROTATING) shifts; which consists of 2 days and 2 nights. Uniforms are provided. Job Responsibilities

Our Forklift drivers transfer materials between unloading, processing, loading, and storage areas and organize and secure stored materials such as super sacks, boxes, and pallets. They also perform routine post and pre inspections to ensure suitable working nature or forklift equipment. Forklift drivers are expected to report any damage to racks, faulty equipment, or any other safety hazards. This is a fast paced environment so you must be very comfortable with driving a counterbalance forklift.

• Ability to read labels and numbers
• Ability to operate in high speed and fast-paced environment
• Able to follow instructions as directed by the supervisor
• Forklift Certified (counterbalance), minimum 12 months experience required
• SlipSheet experience isn't required, but is preferred
• You must be in Canada to qualify, and we do not offer work visas. Work side by side with our amazing team at Staff Management.

Associate Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED
• Background Check
• Able to Lift 30 pounds
• Must be at least 18 years old

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $22.00 - $24.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
