Functions & Accountabilities
- Possess an engaging presence that projects competence, approachability, and cohesive collaboration with the sales and project management teams and other stakeholders.
- Provide accurate pricing for various panel / product types in a timely manner.
- Perform detailed material takeoffs when provided with sufficient project documents.
- Develop accurate, detailed, descriptive materials quotations / estimates.
- Coordinate quoting efforts and strategies with Regional Sales Mangers as required.
- Provide information to the Sales Department, Project Management Department and Drafting Department when a project is booked & participate in Project Expectation Meetings as required to communicate project knowledge used in the winning quote.
- Cross reference/note details and conditions shown within project documents with client standards.
- Maintain organized quotation logs and files so they may be accessed quickly for reference.
- Provide information to Finance and assist with sales forecasting.
- Will work in a collaborative and transparent manner with other functional managers (remote and onsite) to deliver the best solutions for the customer and the business.
Technical Proficiencies
• Will leverage professional and technical maturity founded on experience that has provided you with a solid understanding to interpret and comprehend project specifications, construction
methods & terminology, addendums, special provisions and all other applicable construction
project documents.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while dealing with the challenges of a very fast-paced environment.

- Must be able to collaborate with people across all levels of the organization to better understand relevant challenges, assimilate data and concepts, and effectively communicate and implement solutions in understandable terms.

Communication Skills
- Oral. Excellent English verbal skills. Qualified candidates will be required to inquire, analyze and communicate instructions and present ideas, concepts and solutions to all levels both locally and globally. The successful hire will possess the ability to develop and inspire consensus with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Written. Strong English writing skills. The successful hire will have an appropriate degree of attention to detail in order to issue instructions and present ideas, concepts and solutions that are well organized, clearly stated and concise.
Education & Training
- Technical degree in Architectural/Engineering or 3 to 5+ years of applicable industry experience.
- Fluency in Microsoft Excel and BLUEBEAM is required and AutoCad is preferred.
Experience
- The ideal candidate will have one to three plus years of estimating experience.
- Prior experience with metal panel construction or building envelope is preferred.
