SUMMARY CTI Recycling is looking for a self-motivated and experienced Equipment Operator for our concrete recycling plant(s). The Equipment Operator is responsible for operating equipment such as skid loaders, backhoes, excavators, etc. in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. This work requires considerable skill in manipulating the equipment and constant attention to safety of operation in the yard. Operators will assist other crew members with general labor when work is complete.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Safely and skillfully operate standard concrete constructions equipment.
- Maintain equipment in proper operating condition by performing simple preventative maintenance and repairs (e.g. lube, oil changes, simple adjustments, replacement of minor parts, etc.) on a daily basis.
- Perform daily pre- and post-use safety inspections on equipment.
- Assist recycling crews in daily concrete crushing production when equipment work is done.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures including wearing appropriate safety equipment and using excellent safety practices while visiting job sites per CTI policies, OSHA, and Federal and State laws and regulations.
- Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: - 3+ years' experience in operation of heavy equipment required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent attendance and reliability required.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to maintain a high level of work quality.
- Excellent time management skills. Work well under time constraints and respond positively to change.
- Must pass post-conditional offer of employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
