ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following.
- Lead the design, configuration, testing, implementation and maintain company-wide standard desktop/laptop images along with creation and maintenance of all processes and associated documentation using Microsoft’s Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) or other automated deployment tools.
- Design, deploy and track ongoing operations for end-user device management including application deployments, operating system upgrades, patch management, and security vulnerability remediation using tools such as MECM, Intune, and Patch My PC.
- Create, test, certify and deploy operating systems, task sequences, driver management, service upgrades to deploy into the end user environment.
- Possess an in-depth knowledge of the entire Microsoft 365 application stack, and how to best leverage and integrate those applications in the environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365 security and compliance capabilities, as well as managing infrastructure, identity, access, policies, updates, and app delivery.
- Leads the Endpoint IT infrastructure activities for business projects.
- Creates and manages scripts for deploying OS and software changes using PowerShell and other common scripting tools.
- Create, test, document and maintain applications package installs, updates, and custom desktop configurations.
- Stay on top of industry trends and new technologies to recommend innovative solutions and improvements.
- Proactively identifies needs and installs all software security patches or OS updates to credit union workstations and end point environment using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) or other automated deployment tools.
- Performs AD group policy administration for policies controlling end users and workstations.
- Provides escalated and advanced/Level III end-user support in a timely manner for all credit union workstations, hardware, phones, A/V solutions, software, internal and external peripheral equipment at headquarters and branch locations, assisting other teams when necessary.
- Mentor, educate and train others on the team to advance teams skills and capabilities of current and new technologies and services.
- Continually improves the features, performance, security of client hardware/software.
- Develop and maintain documentation required to support the desktop/laptop hardware, desktop software, and end user infrastructure, and other related procedures.
- Maintains workstation licensing procedures and documents.
- Closely adheres to credit union security standards, policies, and procedures.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 6+ years related experience in computers in a corporate environment of 500 or more workstations required.
- Experience configuring Autopilot profiles, polices and settings to achieve efficient device provisioning and management.
- Extensive knowledge in Intune and Entra ID for device management and identity solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, MacOS, M365, MECM, Active Directory, Group Policy, Apple Business Manager, Intune, Autopatch, Azure, and Entra ID.
- Proven scripting experience using PowerShell and other scripting tools for desktop administration.
- Ability to find root causes of problems, quickly determine efficient solutions, anticipate risks, and mitigate in the moment.
- Ability to analyze and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills who is a team player and service oriented.
- Self-motivated individual who can handle undefined problems and think abstractly to deliver results.
- Ability to work independently with little supervisor as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
