Overview Infosys is seeking a Java Developer with experience in Elastic Search, Kafka and Microservices. In the role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture knowledge and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Responsibilities Interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Architecture knowledge and Design. Lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Location and Work Authorization Candidate must be located within commuting distance of San Jose, CA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require relocation and/or travel to project locations. Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology. Hands-on experience in Elastic Search and Kafka Experience in Java, Spring boot, Microservices Preferred Qualifications Strong analytical capabilities Experience building complex systems involving high volumes and high performance/throughput expectations Should be good on Code coverage and Unit Test. Must have good debugging skills Interact effectively with cross-functional teams to iron out integration needs Software development leveraging Agile Scrum methodology 100% hands-on role Committed to developing high quality code, with speed and willingness to go the extra mile Exposure in development and deployment to private/public cloud, DevOps experience Ability & prior experience in performing a techno-functional role, anchoring technical solutions, working with Business stakeholders to understand the requirements, study existing applications/technical landscape, and collaborate with IT Architects to define technical solution keeping in mind the various integration touchpoints with existing operational systems. Ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams to iron out integration needs Ability to guide the implementation teams spread across multiple time zones, through the implementation of the technical solution, based on project plan Ability to work in team in diverse/multiple stakeholder collaborative environment. Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery model & eagerness to pick up new technologies & product skills on the job. Compensation and Benefits Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows: In San Jose, CA: $90,751 to $146,415 Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance; Long-term/Short-term Disability; Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts; Insurance (Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Legal); 401(k) plan and contributions dependent on salary level; Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off.
