About Your Work

Are you ready to shape the future of our workforce? As the Director of Talent Acquisition and Strategy , you will create and implement strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent. You will align talent initiatives with Altais' business objectives, considering company culture, market trends, and industry competition. Your mission is to identify key talent needs, address gaps through innovative strategies, and foster an environment of continuous learning and growth. This role reports to the Chief People and Engagement Officer and collaborates closely with the People & Engagement Leadership Team.

You will focus on:

Strategic Talent Acquisition

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop talent strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Leverage data and analytics to optimize recruitment processes and drive proactive talent planning.

Talent Pipeline Development

  • Establish and nurture relationships with schools, residency programs, and training institutions to create a continuous pipeline of clinical talent.
  • Implement innovative talent pipeline programs and maintain a robust physician recruiting strategy.

Recruitment Process Optimization

  • Develop and execute the Talent Acquisition roadmap, including cutting-edge process design and tools.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience and continuously seek feedback to optimize recruitment processes.

Operational Effectiveness and Compliance

  • Track and analyze key metrics, such as time-to-fill and quality-of-hire, to assess recruitment effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and collaborate with HR, legal, and clinical leadership on industry standards.

Stakeholder Engagement and Continuous Improvement

  • Clearly articulate and align goals with the company's overall strategy.
  • Communicate progress to stakeholders, develop mitigation strategies for potential risks, and stay ahead of industry trends through market research and competitive analysis.

The Skills, Experience & Education You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, healthcare administration, or a related field is required; master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of talent acquisition experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the healthcare industry is required.
  • Proven expertise in clinical talent acquisition and strategic planning.
  • Candidates must be willing and able to work California hours 5 days a week (9-5 PST would be standard business hours).

Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on several factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements. We provide a competitive compensation package that recognizes your experience, credentials, and education alongside a robust benefits program to meet your needs.

The anticipated pay range for this role is listed in our salary posting for transparency but may vary based on factors including the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and geographic location. This base pay range is specific to California and can vary based on Bay Area, Metro LA, and Greater California regions which may not be applicable to other locations.

Physical Requirements:

Office Environment - roles involving part to full time schedule in Office Environment. Based in our physical offices and work from home office/deskwork – Activity level: Sedentary, frequency most of workday.
