Job Description
The Director of Talent Acquisition creates real life magic by developing strong talent acquisition programs that attract the best in the industry while providing a fair and consistent experience for all candidates and associates. The Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for effectively leading a team of recruiters and overseeing the entire talent acquisition process, including strategy development, candidate sourcing, interviewing and selection, and onboarding.

Producing Excellence Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that aligns with the resort's operating department business objectives and luxury brand standards.
- Oversee the entire recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Identifies sourcing strategies which proactively fill the applicant pipeline with qualified candidates using multiple platforms - including but not limited to: internal succession planning, the applicant tracking system, social media, career fairs, and community events, international visa programs, job boards, referrals, networking, search engines, establishing and managing local school and university relationships, etc.
- Responsible for actively building and maintaining strong relationships with candidates and associates.
- Manages the interviewing process. Collaborates with hiring managers to ensure effective interviews and assessments are conducted to select the best candidates for each role. Coordinates and books travel for all on-site candidate visits.
- Administers offer extension. Negotiates compensation packages and benefits with candidate to reach mutually agreeable terms in alignment with the overall compensation philosophy and with respect to internal equity.
- Oversees the onboarding process to ensure new hires have a positive and successful start. This includes making timely and accurate job offers, conducting pre-employment drug screens/background checks, scheduling orientation, assisting with the completion of new-hire paperwork, etc
- Collaborates with Marketing to build and maintain a strong employer brand that attracts top talent to the resort.
- Oversees the internal transfer and promotion process. Leverages internal succession planning to identify those within the organization who show high potential and support their future promotion candidacy.
- Assists in the development and adherence to annual staffing guidelines while proactively engaging with department leaders to identify and ensure staffing needs are met.
- Oversee the recruitment budget, including revenue generation, cost control, and profitability.

- At least 5 years' experience in a high-volume Recruitment/Talent Acquisition Leadership role.

While we strive to ensure our team members have work-life balance, a minimum of 2 days of a week, and a regular schedule, occasionally this position will demand something different including the potential for working evenings/nights, early mornings, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Ability to travel occasionally to recruitment events.
- Luxury hospitality experience preferred.
- Must speak fluent English.
