Description West 10th Dental Group Dental Billing Specialist Job ID: 11212 Job Type: Full Time Location: 652 N Girls School Rd, Suite 200, Indianapolis, IN 46214 Responsible for the timely and accurate submission of dental claims to various payers and for the diligent follow-up on outstanding claims to ensure proper reimbursement. Responsible for ensuring all proper documentation is submitted with the claim, requiring at times working with providers and clinical staff. Validates proper balances on ledgers and communicates with patients regarding their financial responsibility. Benefits of being part of the West 10th Team

Responsibilities:

• Prepares and submits clean electronic claims to insurance payers.
• Ensures all necessary documentation is attached to claims.
• Monitors and tracks the status of submitted claims using payer portals,clearinghouse reports, and calls.
• Successfully refiles or appeals denied claims providing necessary documentationto support payment.
• Contacts patients through various communication channels including phone, text,email, and statement to collect unpaid patient balances.
• Various administrative tasks as requested by supervisor

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associate Degree or higher(Preferred)
• Dental Claims filing and denial management background
• Computer, Google suite
