Overview The Legacy Center is seeking a dependable and enthusiastic CPR Instructor to join our instructional team. In this role, you will be responsible for becoming certified to teach CPR and first aid courses, including both full certification and challenge formats. Instructors rotate teaching responsibilities with a team and also assist in teaching our Babysitter's Training Course, which closely aligns with CPR instruction. Ideal candidates will enjoy working with both youth and adult learners, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate reliability and professionalism. Responsibilities Obtain and maintain current CPR Instructor certification (training assistance may be provided). Lead CPR certification and challenge courses on a rotating schedule with other instructors. Teach Babysitter's Training Courses that cover basic care, emergency preparedness, and safety. Prepare materials and set up class spaces to ensure a welcoming and effective learning environment. Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse age groups and learning styles. Maintain accurate course records, attendance, and certifications. Represent the Legacy Center's values of safety, education, and community engagement. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. CPR Instructor certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Experience working with children and/or adults in an instructional or caregiving setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively within a team. Available to work days and weekends (Classes are usually taught on Tuesdays & Saturdays).
