Construction Safety Manager
Position Overview The Construction Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing and implementing safety policies and programs on construction sites to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. The role requires a keen understanding of safety regulations and standards, as well as effective communication skills to train and guide personnel on safety practices.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement safety policies and procedures that align with OSHA and EHS regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections on construction sites to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Provide safety training and resources for employees to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with site management and workers to identify potential safety hazards and implement preventive measures.
- Monitor and report on safety performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety management role within the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and EHS standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and manage personnel.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification is preferred.
