Our local government client is hiring a Computer Operator (IT Analyst) to support their team in Washington, DC!!


Responsibilities:
- Assists the IT Specialist in installing and configuring computer software, installing computer hardware peripherals, including the setup of network printers, monitors and mobile devices, and provides assistance to the QA groups in UAT testing as assigned.
- Monitors networked systems for security problems and investigates causes of any suspicious activity identified.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience performing File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and Virtual Private Networks (VPN) in order to transfer data securely.
- 5+ years' experience handling network file systems and USB file transfers to transfer data from internal control system to a thumb drive and then to network file server.
