About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief People Officer (CPO) to join its Executive Team and lead the organization in its mission to provide a world-class education. The CPO will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive human resources strategy that aligns with the company's mission and long-term goals. This includes championing initiatives to recruit, retain, and develop top talent, fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and ensuring that the organization is staffed with passionate, mission-aligned individuals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, a commitment to the transformative power of learning, and a proven track record in leading talent strategy and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Key responsibilities for the CPO at the company include talent strategy, culture and engagement, leadership development, employee relations, HR operations, and organizational development. The successful candidate will be a visionary HR leader with at least 10 years of progressive people leadership experience, including a minimum of 5 years at the executive level in a successful charter network or nonprofit organization. They will be expected to build and maintain a thriving workplace culture, develop leadership programs, and ensure a positive employee experience. The role also involves overseeing all HR functions, from benefits administration to performance management, and partnering with senior leadership on organizational development initiatives. The CPO will serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and the Executive Team, bringing data-driven perspectives to key decisions related to the company's people strategy.
