We are seeking an experienced Consulting FP&A Consultant to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to utilize their financial expertise in a challenging and rewarding environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial planning and analysis support to our company, helping to drive business performance and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision making, including project profitability analysis, cost analysis, and variance analysis.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models using advanced Excel skills.
- Collaborate with senior management to establish financial and operational goals, and develop comprehensive plans to meet those goals.
- Prepare and present financial reports and metrics to senior management, highlighting trends and providing actionable insights.
- Work closely with various departments to understand business operations and provide financial guidance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive the implementation of solutions.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the construction industry.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, vlookups, and complex formulas.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting procedures.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide insightful recommendations.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
