Automation and Controls Engineer - ABB Infi 90 We are seeking a dedicated Automation and Controls Engineer with specialized experience in ABB Infi 90 to join our dynamic team. Salary: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Install, program, and maintain Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems. Carry out the configuration, installation, and commissioning of ABB's Infi 90 systems. Maintain continuous operation and upgrading of all assigned systems, ensuring optimum performance. Handle troubleshooting, diagnostic, and corrective actions of complex technical issues. Provide customer support and manage relationships through detailed technical advice and high-quality service. Travel extensively to customer sites across the United States to perform onsite adjustments and updates. Minimum Position Qualifications: 4+ years of experience with ABB's Infi 90 systems. Profound knowledge in computer, server, and networking configurations. Strong understanding of basic industrial instrumentation and its applications. Ability to provide emergency support, which might include after-hours, weekends, and holidays. Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: Prior role in a full-time automation and controls engineering position. Field experience with modern DCS and PLC systems beyond ABB's Infi 90. Background in instrumentation and/or engineering specifically related to automated controls. Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients. Robust organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously. High-level programming skills and experience with troubleshooting complex systems. Adaptability to new technologies and rapid changes in the technological landscape.
