We are seeking a highly skilled AV Sales Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in designing and selling AV solutions tailored to our clients' needs. This position requires technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a solutions-oriented mindset to support the sales team and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to assess customer requirements, develop tailored AV solutions, and create compelling proposals.
• System Design & Engineering: Design AV systems using QSC, Crestron, Extron, and other industry-leading technologies to meet project specifications and client expectations.
• Pre-Sales Consultation: Conduct site surveys, system evaluations, and client meetings to determine the best AV solutions.
• Technical Presentations & Demonstrations: Deliver product demonstrations, system walkthroughs, and proof-of-concept presentations to clients.
• Proposal Development: Work closely with sales, project management, and engineering teams to generate detailed system designs, CAD drawings, schematics, and bill of materials (BOM).
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution, from initial consultation to post-installation support.
• Industry Knowledge & Training: Stay up to date on emerging AV technologies, best practices, and industry trends to provide innovative and future-proof solutions.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with clients by providing expert guidance, technical support, and ongoing system optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of AV system design, audio engineering, and control systems, with expertise in:
• QSC (Q-SYS) – DSP programming, audio networking, and system integration.
• Crestron – Control system programming and automation.
• Extron – Signal processing, video distribution, and control solutions.
• AV Engineering & Design: Ability to develop engineered solutions that align with customer needs and industry standards.
• Sales & Business Acumen: Strong understanding of the AV industry, including pricing, competitive analysis, and solution positioning.
• Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand solutions for clients and stakeholders.
• Certifications (Preferred): CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I, Q-SYS Level 1/2, Crestron DMCE, Extron AV Associate, or other relevant AV certifications.
• Experience: 5+ years in AV system design, engineering, or technical sales.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
