Role Starting Pay:
$40,000 - $60,000 annually

Pleasanton, CA

Reports To:
Project Manager

Role Purpose:

Support the Project Manager and project team in translating conceptual designs into accurate, code-compliant construction documents. Collaborate with consultants and internal team members to coordinate project details and maintain documentation quality.

Buckets of Responsibility:

  • Draft detailed construction drawings based on design concepts provided by senior team members.
  • Review and incorporate input from structural, MEP, and other consultants into architectural drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, zoning requirements, and project-specific regulations.
  • Assist in managing consultant coordination to ensure seamless integration of design disciplines.
  • Review drawings for accuracy and conflicts; support quality control across documentation.
  • Respond to redlines and implement revisions based on feedback from Project Manager and Principal.
  • Attend and contribute to internal team meetings and consultant coordination calls.
  • Maintain consistency with office drafting standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant 3D modeling tools.
  • Understanding of construction documentation and architectural workflows.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally—both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative studio environment.

Additional Tools & Skills:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Experience using Bluebeam for document review and markups.

  • Steady progress toward autonomy in drawing and coordination tasks.
