Their responsibilities include reporting on Operational Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), facilitating communication with leadership and stakeholders, and providing structure to new processes. You’ll dive in and gain an understanding of business areas within the Operations portfolio and help product teams develop objectives and collaborate on strategies to achieve them. You will help Operations Product Management teams with their migrations to the Product Model, transforming the way we partner with IT to achieve objectives. This position is within the Operations Planning & Performance (OP&P) organization and will support all Operations groups. Synthesize business problems, identify strategic options, define outcomes, and gain consensus among senior leadership on key Operations initiatives Collaborate with product teams to translate strategic vision into specific objectives, clearly defining how their work contributes to Operational goals Identify current and future opportunities, compiling and presenting cross-functional impacts, aligning and prioritizing with business owners, finance, and IT counterparts, and monitors the status outcomes Enable teams and leaders to connect the dots between the various initiatives within a larger plan Be the link between business and IT teams across organizations to bring about consistency and synergies on product and technology practices Ensure clarity of business requirements from stakeholders to enable proper planning and design of new initiatives Monitor and provide updates to senior leadership Gather and synthesize information from various sources and package into executive-level presentation Project manage transformational initiatives, building detailed project plans, facilitating meetings and following up with key stakeholders Create KPIs and project dashboards to monitor progress Provide analytical support by reviewing data, drawing insights and presenting findings Develop and deliver presentations to leaders and working groups Manage ad hoc projects as required – ranging from small requests to multi-year projects Collaborate with internal customers to better understand their needs and be able to communicate them to others All you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience 3 years of experience in airline, consulting, or equivalent industries Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Graduate degree Product Management experience Prior consulting experience Skills, Licenses & Certifications Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and written and verbal communication skills including the ability to collaborate with all levels of management Strategic thinker who considers the broader corporate implications of ideas Ability to problem solve and effectively deal with ambiguity Self-starter who solicits input from several sources Ability to prioritize and navigate projects among competing priorities, both within and outside one's own organization Effective collaborator both across and outside the organization at all levels Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word What you'll get Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer: Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
