Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Agency Marketing Manager to join our team. As a part-time or freelance professional, you will play a crucial role in identifying and targeting new client prospects, driving outreach efforts, and generating marketing qualified leads. Our agency thrives on collaboration, innovation, and strategic thinking, and we’re excited to welcome a proactive and results-oriented individual to our team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prospect Identification and Outreach:
    • Actively identify and market to new client prospects using all available channels.
    • Collaborate closely with our sales and executive team to refine and activate a segmentation strategy for prospect prioritization.
    • Ensure accurate categorization of prospects in our Salesforce CRM system.
  2. Strategy Lead & Opportunity Support:
    • Engage with prospects by developing customized strategic replies for each opportunity.
    • Collaborate with leadership and business development on RFI/RFP responses, introductory meetings, pitch presentations, and proposal documents.
    • Collaborate with agency leadership and internal project management to assemble team members and assign roles/schedules for each opportunity.
    • Align responses with available agency resources and project management priorities.
  3. Lead Generation & Marketing:
    • Oversee strategically aligned agency marketing and sales outreach efforts:
    • Content strategy
    • Social media campaigns
    • PR initiatives
    • Data-driven programmatic campaigns
    • SEM/PPC activities
    • Tradeshows and conferences (including travel and participation)
    • Support business development prospecting team members to amplify lead generation efforts.
  4. Analytics & Reporting:
    • Generate monthly and annual reports on business development effectiveness.
    • Analyze marketing spend relative to return within the sales funnel through conversion.
    • Identify areas for improvement in sales and marketing strategies.
  5. Business Segments:
    • Target Hospitals & Health Systems (Consumers)
    • Target B2B Healthcare (Healthcare C-Suite / Managers)
    • Target Medical Device / Health Tech / Life Sciences (HCPs)
    • Target Multicultural Healthcare / Public Health (Medi-Cal / Diverse Audiences)
  6. Strategic Responsibilities:
    • Develop and execute annual strategic business plans aligned with segmentation strategy.
    • Engage internal subject matter experts to support the sales strategy.
    • Lead go-to-market strategies and strategic responses for key prospect/customer meetings.
    • Measure and evaluate strategic implementation against intended results.
  7. Market Research & Analysis:
    • Collect and analyze vertical market research, customer insights, and competitive analysis.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in marketing/advertising agency or professional services.
  • Healthcare advertising/marketing experience or an existing network is a big plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in tools such as PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 16 hours per week part-time.

Additional Information

  • Compensation Range: $60 - $90/hr. (commensurate with experience).
  • Benefits will not be provided for this role.
