Description

Centurion is proud to be the new provider of comprehensive healthcareservices to the Illinois Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a part-time Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) at the Murphysboro Life Skills Re-Entry Center in Murphysboro, IL .


This position is two 8-hour days per week for a total of 16 hours per week. Required days are Tuesdays and Fridays.

Union Rate starts at $66 per hour

The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant works under the supervision of a physician in a correctional environment and is responsible for assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care management. This includes collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, performing assessments, diagnosing patients, and medication management.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Illinois NP/PA license
• Ability to pass background check
• 2+ years experience working as an NP/PA
• Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
